Cassette KDZ 6kw
- Manufacturer: Kratki
- Product Code: Cassette KDZ
- Availability: In Stock
Modern KDZ K fireplace cassette insert is compact heating
equipment. It can be fitted both into existing open fireplaces and in a new
mantel. Thanks to the applied solutions, such as turbines (forced convection),
the cassette insert enables very effective use of heat from combustion of wood,
making the equipment a very economical source of heat. It allows to effectively
heat a room, in which it is installed. KDZ K cassette insert transfers heat by
means of radiation and thanks to fans, provides a lot of hot air.

MAXIMUM USE OF ENERGY
More effective combustion and maintaining of the temperature for
a longer period of time is achieved through lining the furnace with Termotec, a
material that accumulates heat and increases the temperature inside.
The cassette is equipped in turbines fitted under the furnace
with the capacity of 280 m3/h and low
power consumption (38W). The turbines are responsible for forced circulation of
air in the device, which results in more effective heat transfer to the
surroundings. The equipment features three-stage control of the fans operation.
Depending on made selection:
- position 0 - the turbines start automatically and operate with
reduced speed after the temperature sensor reading reaches 50°C. (The sensor is
installed under the ash pan at the front of part of the cassette.),
- position 1 – the turbines operate continuously with reduced
speed, depending on the operation of the cassette insert,
- position 2 – the turbines operate continuously with full
speed, regardless of the operation of the cassette insert.
DESCRIPTION OF AIR
CIRCULATION
Natural air circulation - starts upon firing up of the cassette
insert,
Forced air circulation - starts when the fans are started up.
The purpose of the fans is to increase the air flow along the external walls of
the cassette insert, and first of all to collect and transfer the heat energy
to the room. The fans are installed directly at the front of the cassette
insert, underneath the furnace. Apart from the fans, the kit comprises a
controller and a head with a temperature sensor, all interconnected by
capillary tubes. The power is supplied to the fans with the capacity of 280 m3/h from 230 V mains. The system can be
started automatically or manually. Air is drawn from the room via two holes at
the front of the cassette below the door. Flowing air collects heat from the
space surrounding the furnace and transfers it to the room.
DESCRIPTION OF THE COMBUSTION
AIR CIRCULATION
Air to the furnace is drawn from the room.
The amount of primary air supplied under the fire grate is
controlled using a mechanism (a controller) located under the insert door.
The stove has a system of double air supply to the furnace -
primary air and an air curtain.
Primary air is supplied under the fire grate located in the
furnace bed. Air is supplied to the furnace from a space (air chamber)
underneath the grate, on which combustion takes place.
Secondary air is supplied through holes in the upper part of the
cassette insert. This way oxygen is supplied to the upper part of the furnace.
Air control, the so-called air curtain, is provided by a mechanism installed
over the stove door. Opening of the mechanism enables supplying air to the
upper part of the insert, where reburining of the gases coming from combustion
of wood takes place, the same reducing the emission of harmful CO to the
atmosphere.
USE CONVENIENCY
It is easier to keep the insert clean thanks to the grate and an
ash pan, where ash collects. Additionally, the application of the clean glass
system reduces the deposition of soot. The glass is separated from the furnace
by an air curtain. Air directed onto the guide “licks” the glass, moving flames
and smoke away from it, which significantly reduces the deposition of soot,
making the glass stay clean.
MODERN DESIGN
The cassette insert is equipped in a single decorative glass,
which makes it look elegant and modern. This solution makes optically the front
of the insert bigger and emphasizes the view of fire. The insert door is
equipped in a convenient handle.
ECOLOGICAL COMBUSTION
The unit meets the requirements of Ecodesign standards and the
restrictions of the BImSchV 2 standard, which determines the maximum CO
emission.
